Ultrasound Imaging Is Free at PhC

Registered nurses trained in limited obstetric ultrasounds perform ultrasounds at PhC.  The purpose of a limited obstetric ultrasounds is to:

• Document the location of the pregnancy
• Measure the heartbeat
• Determine fetal age and due date

The ultrasound will not:

• Identify gender
• Diagnose abnormalities or problems

Ultrasound images will be reviewed by our Medical Director, a licensed MD.

Ultrasound will be done when the pregnancy test is positive at the discretion of the nurse.
